Life coaching

Life-coaching involves active intervention whereby consultations with a life-coach will encourage you to identify obstacles to your development and goals. Through facilitation, life-coaching will assist you in changing those barriers or obstacles into positive opportunities. Life-Coaching guides you forward, based on your own capabilities, talents and desires. It focuses on the future as opposed to the past and helps you to learn from the various challenges you face and encourages you to achieve your dreams.

Life Coaching is not about telling you what to do; it is completely
non-judgemental and has absolutely nothing to do with giving advice. Rather it acts as a catalyst for helping clients to define their own way forward. Life-coaching supports you, the client, to identify your goals and to take practical steps towards achieving them; talking to someone impartial can offer you more opportunities than you may have already explored.

So whether there is something you want to add to or remove from your life or if you just wish to think something through, I am here to provide you with a coaching session as special and unique as you.

My approach to life coaching follows the I-CAN-DO model of coaching and is person-centred in philosophy, which means that I put the client at the heart of the coaching process.

Therapy and life-coaching are similar in many ways but they are also very different. A client attending for therapy generally has a difficulty that they would like assistance with overcoming, which often includes exploring the past in order to devise interventions for working. However, a client attending for life-coaching is more concerned with achieving certain goals and aspirations; they will find that the focus of the life-coaching sessions predominantly lies in the present and the future.

A Life Coaching session lasts one hour and is always in a calm,
confidential and relaxed space.
